Consultation

The Orthodontic consultation is an opportunity for Dr. Quillen to meet you and assess your needs. He takes intraoral photographs, x-rays, and makes molds of your teeth. This appointment lasts about an hour.

Adjustment Appointments

These appointments are scheduled from 4-8 weeks. During these appointments wires may be changed and oral hygiene issues will be addressed, if necessary.

Placement of Braces

This appointment also lasts about one hour. Your brackets, either ceramic or metal, are bonded to your teeth and all wires installed. This reduces the need for multiple appointments to get started.

Retainers

The final phase of Orthodontic treatment is the retention phase. Dr. Quillen will make your retainers, either clear or wire/acrylic retainers. These need to be worn 24/7 for at least 6 months, then you can transition to nighttime wear.

“The most gratifying aspect of my practice is getting to know my patients over the course of treatment, and seeing their wonderful transformations.”
